Hi all, more work done today i had to cut out the back of the floor to the crossmember because of rust
i had priced a half floor which was cheap but the p+p to ireland was £32 so i jack in that plan
and brought a sheet of steel and fab my own panel

So heres the panel in place

Then it was on to the full length bottom panel

More work done today , i started on the rear R.H subframe mount i didnt get a full geniune one for this project
as i am doing it on a budget
it was a bad fit to start with , so i used a bare rear subframe to line it all up and there was a gap between the panel
and the lower end of the quarter panel
i also welded the nuts to the plate incase they decided to come loose

so welded in a plate checked that it all lined up spot welded and seamed in place

Posted Image

So after that i cut out the R/H side of the boot floor again i am going to be using patten coner panel hopefully put it in tomorrow
Posted Image
,while i was there ,i noticed some rust bubbles
Posted Image

Then i cut them out made a bottom piece and welded it in
Posted Image

Moving along , any comments welcome good, bad or other wise
Dave
