In the mig invitation class I hope.
I've scrapped my idea of staying in the cssc and built a proper mig for nxt season now

 

hmm.. maybe. it will be 1000cc and il be a novice so dunno if thats a good idea.. i think il run to a competitive spec in the mini sevens, then upgrade if you know what i mean ;)

Cage is in and welded up and sorted now:). Harness mounts to do tomorrow and then finish prepping g some welds and then I'm going to start paint prep saterday! Did a dry build of most of the parts tonight like pedals, seat mounts, extinguisher mounts, switch panels etc and it all fits and holes drilled so most of them will be off for powercoat tomorrow or Friday, whenever I can be bothered to pop into Haverhill to drop them off. Aeroquip is ordered for the fuel system, I was going to run -3 for the brakes, but at 400 quid is rather use kunifer piping and brass unions for 20 thanks... Il spend my money on hole saws and ally sheet;)

So, just need an engine, ignition system, Perspex, a set of spare arches to mock and paint up and a few sets of wheels and I'm sorted:)

Done:). Harness mounts in, welds looking neat, ready to prep for paint on saterday:D

Tweeks order is here in the morning, ACW plastics order will be in, aeroquip on its way.. All looking very car shaped and time to racecar!

Where is the cage from and how much?

Thanks, cage is a safety devices multi point bolt it cage. Cost about 850.

Also on track to have it painted by Wednesday. Let the scramble build commence I have until Christmas day to get it built up! Update central!!!!

bloody stupid paint suppliers not bringing my paint out so i couldnt get the top coat on grrrrrrr hate.   oh well il do it tomorrow...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

this paint is the matte effect paint, its going to be a shiny finish when we go over it again tomorrow with the right paint but we had this to try out so may aswell use it up as a base coat!

 

should look alright, just want to start bolting bits on and get on track!
