Thanks I managed to find the electrical fault then test drove it in the wet and that was an adrenalin filled event

i only had it out in the rain once (suicide :ohno: ) it was only used in the dry after that. im so glad its back on the road. have fun mate and keep safe.

those tyres you have on will make it worse. i had the a539 when i had it, and they were not too bad.

Hi Ed when I bought the car it had the Yokohamas on I did notice in your original photos the a539s I will look in to upgrading the tyres at a later date

the tyres you have are great for dry weather. i dont think they are so good for wet conditions. the car is so short, that you need to be quick with the reactions to catch it :-)

I just took delivery of my new wheels from Force racing at the rear they will be 8x13 at the front 7x13 I got to say they are very light and worth every penny.

Joss, would you mind me asking how much you paid for the wheels?

Also where are you based, I ask because you were asking about shows and wondered we you were and what you might be at. I don't have any firm plans for shows this year but might try a get to one or two if there are going to be a few people from the forum going.

Hi I am in West Berkshire Newbury and I am always interested in taking the Mini on events the wheels are a good deal £235 each anodised and I got to say the quality is outstanding chap I dealt with is Carl (good knowledge of his product and no VAT)

wheels look great on the mini i pick my force wheels up next week, carl was telling me that you
were getting wheels made! very nice!
