Their was only some small issues with the retuning of the engine the rolling road showed 150hp at the wheels and a very good torque band now its back to the workshop for finishing.

There good numbers, considering transmission losses. I look forward to seeing this being driven once again.....

I fitted a Simtek solid state isolator switch one cut out buttons on the dash and the other is where the wiper mechanism comes through the body its all waterproofed and a good deal for £125 its also tidy. I am now finishing the electrics and putting back the brightwork and panels I got the boot back from the paint shop today.

Joss, did you say you were going to fit a plumbed extinguisher system as well? Be interested to see how that all goes in if you do.....

Yes If you look at some of the views of car with the bonnet open you will see a extinguisher fitted to the bulkhead it is an electrically activated unit with 2 extinguisher outlets. The pipe work runs inside the car adjacent to the tunnel and the nozzles are situated in the engine bay. By the side of the drivers seat is an activation button and underneath the dash is the battery powered management unit. The reason I used the unit was to minimalism clutter in the drivers compartment and you get a bigger extinguisher bottle.

And today the alarm was installed and the wheel arches and inner ares went on what a job

Hi got the mini out the workshop for a test drive everything seemed OK and then it died of an electrical fault. As you can see the cars nearly completed now and should be ready with a new MOT in january.
