This section is described as "Serious topics you want to discuss that isn’t related to Minis" so of course that includes X Factor

Melanie was robbed, probably because most of the people who vote on X Factor are about 14/15 years girls who don't like proper music. Rylan is funny and entertaining, more than can be said for most of the rest of them.

Ella has won it already, she won it before the live shows even started.

not watched a single eppisode. it will stay that way! all drivel, if the do a band version where they get tallented people who write their own music, play their own instruments and sing their own songs... i might watch.... untill then i will leave you with a quote from Bruce Dickinson (frontman of Iron Maiden)

"I dont understand these kids auditioning for X-Factor claiming they 'Just want to make music' CUT THE CARP!!

Let me introduce you to the kid teaching himself to play guitar....... The busker in the train station...... the boys and girls recording their own demos and playing small venues...... the unpublished songwriter with countless books full of lyrics.... the people who just want to be heard, just want to express themselves, their creativity and their creative worth.

They are the ones who just want to make music, They are the real artists!

Anyone who auditions for the X-Factor is because they want to be famous, period! else they would already be out there making music!!"

Can't bring myself to watch this over-hyped,contrived and pre-scripted rubbish.
Sorry if that offends anyone but TV is totally contrived.
Some may remember when my family were on 'Car Booty' raising money for my Grandson's Mini re-build. What you saw was nothing 'like it really was' and things were out-of-sequence, contrived & scripted.
But, hey, if it all gives entertainment to people why should we care.

Oh I agree, most tv is a load of rubbish, and the patronising, plastic, contrived X factor is one of the worst offenders. But it's addictive!!!

It was revealed recently that the audience reactions shown are not necessarily even those for the 'artist/wannerbee' currently being shown on screen due to clever editing!! Once you know it is all a setup and manipulated for viewing figures rather than true talent it becomes harder to watch.......hardly surprising that the viewing figures are dropping with every series.

I think the Voice is a little more honest. I mean, with the X Factor auditions you could tell exactly who was going to be good, bad, unexpectedly good and so on because of the build-up and the background music they played, before they even got on stage and sung! It's so obviously designed for stupid people...

The judges can't give any criticism without being boo'ed by the chavvy boozed-up audience, it's a pantomime!

EDIT: I still love it. Help me
