A lot of tv programmes like X-Factor are better viewed either recorded or time shifted if your tv box allows by about 20-30 minutes, that way you can fast forward through all the padding such as long winded introductions, repetitive sob stories, advert breaks, competitions, post ad recaps, etc..........often edits a programme down to about half its running time! :lol:

also the only use for x-factor is watching the mentalists in the first few weeks durin the try-outs... see all the right nutters who have been wished on by their friends insisting they are infact "talented"

That's not just their friends. Before they make it to TV they go through another audition, and if they are really bad, they are often told they are good in the hope that when they get told they are **** on TV they go mad. Apparently.
