Ignition timing isn't out only recently been done by a garage

can you turn the body of the distributor with your hand?

DONOT have the ignition on tho!

battery connections loose?
incorrectly gap points/ plugs
broken ignition wiring?
choke sticking?

most likely coil in this situation make sure you get the right one ballast or non ballast, it may be worth while changing the condenser too

Thanks do u think this would solve the problem if I replaced my ignition coil condenser was replaced same time ad my points

its worth ago and there always handy to have spare, please get another condenser there three quid and new ones can fail easily in hours!

What does the ignition coil do as the spark plugs are.sparking

Yes there's oil in dashpot

have you checked the carb needles not stuck?
