don't want to sound like a know all, but mini 25's were not fitted with rover mini-lights as standard.

they were not introduced until 1989 on the mini 30. ;D

OK people may lambast the lack of alloys, but remember back in 1984 Austin Rover simply didn't make 12" Mini alloys: the Minilight of the Mini 30 was still 5 years away.

If my memory serves me correctly, the Ritz was the first mini with 12" alloys, only reason I know that is I had one...

my point was, the man is advertising the car as very standard, and some people have made the comment that it's original, but not once does it mention it's been fitted with "later" wheels.
not every one knows the the true factory spec of all the models and it wasn't made clear that the guy knew the wheels were "non standard".

a small point but it may make a difference in the price, good or bad.

i wasn't having a go, i was just pointing out a "FACT"

and yes. the Ritz (1985) and Chelsea (1986) had 12" alloys, although the design was a bit plain
