I just bought a Mk1 This weekend, if the snow clears enough i'll be going to collect Tommorrow.

Long over due update Finally got the grille back which is all I have been waiting for. It ended up being blasted & powder coated with a very light silver matallic. It looks okay & cost me £50 in total which is a lot better than £200 for re-chroming & they couldn't promise a good finish due to the level of pitting. So I put the grille on today, gave it a clean & took some final pics -









Then took it out for a little drive to tax it. Got back & noticed it was emptying it's oil onto the ground! Turns out the clutch oil seal is leaking in quite a major way so that needs sorting. Just when I thought it was done & I was going to advertise it

Haven't had chance to do it yet, other jobs have taken priority for the next day or so.
