Looks like our JCG minis aren't that different actually. i got a small obsession with JCG parts atm as well.

Just out of interest to you, I used to have a 2004 mini cooper loved it, it was my first car spent many hours up and down the motorways tagging on to merc and bmws and when i wanted to smash it round the corners. i wish i didnt have to get rid but Mazy was a priorty/midlife investment really. she was a 1.6 cooper and i usually got 350 miles out of a tank with no eco driving.

A lesson to be learnt there, never take a car for a drive when you are thinking of selling, you may end up holding on to it longer than you had planned.

Once I put a car up for sale it doesn't get used, seen way too many cars destroyed by 'one last drive'.

Its for your own good! When I used to buy and sell minis, i'd use them right up till the point they were advertised for sale. When the ad went live, that was it, never driven again.

Used to drive mrs shifty nuts, especially when it was one of 'her' cars I was flogging!

Went to look for a mini over here this spring, car was overpriced but in stunning conditions, so decided why not give a call and view the car..owner told me he just crashed the car as another guy went to view the car and he was getting out the garage..

The Mini Cooper 1.6D gets 70mpg....

you'll be luckly lol try closer to 50mpg with "real world" driving lol
i had a cooper d clubby which averaged 50mpg from day one. could possibly get it higher if doing a lot of careful motorway miles.

good luck with the sale though. don't fancy swapping for my 1380mpi do you
