One thing i've always wondered, does water not get into these pipes easily when parked/driving in the rain? or even when washing the car?

@paddy Yeah could do or I can fashion one of these covers which tractors have that pivot when you rev so that it'll open and close :)!! I'll have to do something though as it rains a lot here :P

I used to have the same problem with the factory fit Janspeed on my Si, getting soot spots up the back just after cleaning/polishing was a pain and one of the reasons I went for a Flecther on it

Yeah Craig it's something like that the way it worked on a tractor though if you can imagine is at idle or when the engine was off it'd be closed but when the car is running it would open :)!!

on idle it would be bouncing open and closed and prob drive you nuts if your normal routes have you sitting traffic a lot :P

yeah probably haha but the rainwater thing isnt that bad you just need to let it warm up and its fine...ish >_< !!

LOL. My problem comes when I wash it my car, water gets in the tail pipe, start the car up and it spits sooty water all over the white paint work on the house :P
