Ouch, thats a bit chicken and egg...

I plan to bond in the bodykit so I can have it painted all at once.... how much clearance is recommended for the wheel to arch? Any tips?

Thx, Coen

Why dont you put the battery low down to improve centre of gravity?

That was my preference but there is no space in the front subframe for it. I cant do with a smaller battery as I have the TDI to start up...

agreed, however its hard to estimate and really should be aligned first the result will be worth the effort otherwise it is a compromise between what works really well and the room you have left
you can find the correct settings here

Thx Steve, did the basic setup yesterday and all will fit, just a little trimming of the inner arch.

Do you have more of these valuable documents to share?

How was the wheel base? as I know a couple of people that have had to extend the side skirts and move the rear arches back slightly as their kits were too short / the z-cars wheel base was slightly longer than standard.

Wheelbase is OK, it is a bit far back but I don't have to change the side skirts.

Not many updates. The shell has been away for 5 weeks now to the paintshop, I am expecting it to come back this week! The only things I have done are some work on the wiring and intercooler...

When the shell is back i'll post some new pictures.
