Hi All,

 

Its been a very long time since the last update, that doesn't mean nothing happened!!

 

Engine start!

 

 

Wiring. I have used one of the 12 circuit wiring modules from CBS. It is a great piece of kit. Still it has taken me a couple of weeks to get it all done the right way.

The fuel tank had to be adjusted to allow for the Charge Cooler Radiator to be fitted.

Lights and all sorts of other stuff has been fitted.

Last, bought some Lotus Elise seats and made some frames for them, the have a great fit to the car. They don't look too good yet but that will be fixed soon.

What do you think of the cbs electrics module thinking of using similar in my land rover I'm building but wasn't sure if it was worth the money for what it is

The CBS module is pretty good, it makes wiring very structured. I'd buy it again...

have you followed the CBS recommended wiring diagram and just substituted glow plugs for the coil wiring?

 

I didn't like the fact that the module has relay for the horn but not for headlamps in it.

It's just fantastic dutch guys take a project like this since belgium or holland is difficult to get those cars on the road I appreciate they try at least... And I do hope the succeed!
