Grh1289. Bit of a freak in itself. Everywhere was out of stock when i needed one, and mini salvage places were looking at me gone out.

Bit of another thread about it here. http://www.theminifo...s-where-to-buy/

hmmm didnt know about that stuff haha, just the charcoal canister, stuff in the loom for injection mini's haha nuts mine seems to be pretty quick and reliable but haha not had any issues with it haha (you know what gonna happen now)

Mine was meant to be a rally mini :P........... Thats never gonna happen, plenty of engine upgrades hidden in the engine according to the previous owner. Though I don't believe him. We'll see when I rip it apart.

yeah mine is going well ive had hif 38, 44 and a weber 40 on it, the 38's best for fast acceleration, the 44 was a bit faster and louder and the 40 was best for sound, ive got a big valve cylinder head and a good exhaust system. goes well, quite fancy getting it dyno'd :shades:, what carb you running?

I have no clue, I think its a 38 as thats whats standard, Its on a alloy inlet manifold fitted by the previous owner, again don't know about the cylinder head, but if Artful Dodger (Harrison) decides against his ported head, I have first refusal.

I wan't it to go like the proverbial but not eat your face everytime you go for a drive.

If the tester knows a CAT was fitted he can fail the test. We have had this discussion on the RSP forum and no-one has had a failure yet due to this new rule. It is unlikely that the tester or the computer would know exactly which cars had a CAT fitted from the factory.

Reason for rejection = 3. A catalytic converter missing where one was fitted as standard
