I heard you can since you have to run tubes in split rims anyway??



You may not fit tubes into tubeless tyres, doesn't matter how the rim is constructed. So given that, the three (or only two depending on how it's assembled) pieces of the rim need to be sealed to each other which is done (I believe) with bead sealant painted around the rim. So you wouldn't be able to do that with a tyre fitted.

Just make sure you tell them to not use the the sills as jacking points as the last :P that did that ment i needed 2 new sills have lernt me lesson use the subframe lol

Its the kwikfi in heanor, dont think anyone will no were that is but just incase ;D priced up a new rim toay with midland wheel £63 and £93 with tyre but dont think they'll pay for new tyre. Aslong as i get my rim replaced ill be happy. A nice spare i spose if you look at it that way. Bit off topic but does the guy from ripley with the red mini come on the forum?

Took my Mini to Kwik Fit today to repair a blowy exhaust, took them 20 minutes to do it, couple of courses of gun gum... No charge! ;D They're not all bad!
