Shame, I have been thinking of a small petrol, electric or even model jet engine but the regs are damn stupid really.
Is that registered for the road? I have wondered about doing this but hassle of getting it road legal has meant I haven't bothered yet.
How I get to work:
I was jokingAlthough I do have a lawnmower engine I was thinking about trying it with, just for jokes!

i forgot , had a stripped back one of those too, early 125 tweaked rotary valve and mild porting. quicker than the rd 125 lc's at the time
i started with mt5 too, put a honda h100 engine in it then got an mb5, h100 engine in again, overboard it to 54mm to fit a single suzuki x7 piston. went like stink, all whilst registered as a 50cc so i could ride it at 16 years old, then moved onto cg125, rg125, rd125 and ended on a gsx 1000 katana.
Everyone starts somewhere, I started on an MT50 then and RD125LC. I had so much fun on them I would happily have either back. E660DRB and D69 WRB
I've got a XR125, if you class that as a motorbike
Ollie.
try this, honda mb5, gp100 bottom end, gp125 top end, tune it to death and stick a rotax pipe on itflat as a witches tit under about 6500rpm but then went like a scalded earwig!!
current fun bike, got PCV, open airbox, map2 and quick throttle...

Bloody ell! Doesn't he like bikes? I had a similar age Goofy and did 28000 miles in a year on it. I wish I had kept the MOTs, I swapped it for a VFR750 and did over 30000 the next year. I couldn't afford the petrol to that now, let alone the cost of metzeler comp Ks!My '76 CB750 K6 barn find:
