The colour is a copy of the previous paintjob from a colour scanner. There is no reference material for the paints used, and all Olympic Vehicles were re-painted in the early 80's to a lighter shade.
I am going for the full original spec. I love little details. I have been collecting Olympic Airways memorabilia over the last 6 months.
Apart from the usual safety cards, postcards, playing cards and cuttlery, I have an Olympic Airways Maintenance jacket, a file listing all Olympic Airways vehicles including 44! Mini vans and pickups, one sterling siver first class serving tray and my luckiest find of all, 15 used airline serving trolleys.

The powdercoated steel 3.5 wheels are shod with some Greek made 145/80/10 Good Year All Weather tyres that I had lying around.
The Olympic Airways logo will not be a decal like the previous try but with a stencil and paint, as it would have been done back then. Another detail is that the logo was written in English on the left side and Greek on the right.
Here are some more pics of Mini Vans in action. Spot the Mini!!!!

Seeing those pictures makes me feel old as i have worked on a lot of those aircraft over the years, B767-200, Tristar, B727-200, B707, B747-200.
Damn Neil, and i thought I was old haha. ( Although my claim to fame is working on the tristar, 2 years ago in fact lol )
