Im not sure what your strange statement is suposed to mean, but just to clarify....
Leyland & Rover drawings clearly state the head thickness as 2.75"
With a tolerance of +0.0" -1/64th
2.75" = 69.850mm
1/64 = 0.397mm
Therefore a standard head will be between the following
Min = 69.453mm
Max = 69.850mm
Anything less than this ..... and its been skimmed
