A quick key as nothing I've drawn is recognisable!
Black=linkage bar
Red=standard linkage internal
Blue=bracket work
Green=gear stick
Orange=rose joint
The idea is that the rose joint can be moved up or down (therefore having an adjustable throw on the gear stick)
I haven done a lot of work on the idea as I'd like to get the car to a reasonable stage first but I hope you get the idea

the plot thickens! drawn up, some modifications done and i have a parts list for the mornin'


havnt included any form of bracing or mounting but thats the easy part!
the use of a complicated rose mounting for the gear change is because it needs to slide to account for the transformation from a side to side movement in the rod to a rotational movement. im using a rocker spacer spring as a sort of helper spring and a center return. if it didnt have this it would be sloppy..
edit: damn, no idea how to rotate, can anyone help? XD
