This post has just saved me parting £.... I have been discussing purchasing the whole Interior from this chap... he had even sent me samples...

I have just sent him a stern email, thanks for the heads up - the Forum is so vital...

I am looking for someon to make me a white laminate dashboard.... anyone know who to speak to, custom consoles seemed not to be able to assit as could only do vnyl covered but want the glossy white iPod look.

you should have asked him to ring you and given out OPs number.

Unfortunately this seems to be pretty typical of him, the only communication he seems to have with his customers is all prior to any sale. He will happily answer your queries and be really quite helpful right up until he has your order, after which time he fails to respond to emails. What's even more annoying, is that over the summer months he can be seen at shows with his trade stand, taking orders from unsuspecting buyers, whilst he has a backlog of unfulfilled and oversized customers who've been bombarding him with emails demanding their money back. How on earth he's still in business I have absolutely no idea, it can't be due to reputation, or from repeat business, that's for sure!

Oh and the reason he doesn't answer phone calls, is because he can't hear the phone over the all the noise in his workshop apparently!

I have one of his dashboards, bought it off the peg from a show 3 years ago. We used to be in the same club, but only met him once (he never turned up...). Very good dash, but even then he was known for being a bit slow on turnaround.

Will he be at Bingley I wonder? I am on the lookout for a new dash so will keep well away, does he use the name of Minteriors or is it something different?

Just stumbled across this post, sorry to here your having so much hassle.

He's not to far from far from me, maybe 20 minutes drive, I'd be more than happy to collect your parts and send them on if it's of any help, of course it would mean actually getting in contact with him so something could be arranged, I'm not sure he'd appreciate me knocking on his door demanding people's orders.

If I can be of any help let me know.
