Hi, I have a 998 Mini City 1989, and I have just bought a LCB exhaust, will this: http://www.minisport...fo_GMC3000.html. fit over the top of it, thank you.

yes it will, but why have you bought an LCB for a 998............the maniflow freeflow works much better on a small bore and is much easier to get the exhaust back off when you need to, LCB's are just a pain in the a**e

Should do the only problem your likely to have is, if the flanges are a different thickness. This is easy to sort by stepping the washers.


yes thats correct but the only inlet manifold that i have ever had to "step" the washers on is an MG metro inlet manifold, most aftermarket ones are ok.....;-)

ok thank you all, the only reason i bought an lcb not a freeflow is because it was only £50 off ebay

ahhhh, well if it isn't a maniflow one the make sure you have got a hammer to fit it onto the cylinder head because the copies are usually a terrible fit!

and please reroute your fuel line! if you can get hold of some put a braided line on

Why? but we have run it through the cab along the drivers side of the tunnel and up the inside of the bulkhead trough the heater hose blanking plate

i meant reroute it round the lcb if left in the factory position its a few mm off tpuching the lcb itself!

we're going to buy a electric fuel pump and the pipe will come out of the heater hose blank and straight accross onto the carb

a LCB is likely to hang down a bit low on a 998 block, you might end up with ground clearance problems
