you have posted up pics of a engine in a subframe, how do you know how the exhaust will fit to the body of the car with out bolting the subframe to the car ?

a cooper free flow is good up to 1275 stage 1 level of tune, more than that you will start to lose a little at the top end but still make good low to mid range power

a cam change will move the power band up the rev range suiting a LCB

i have lcb on a 998 and the clearance is fine

Thank you, I knew they wouldn't sell a manifold and downpipe which didn't actually fit

That is a SuperSport LCB - not quite the best in town :(

I'd recommend you finding another (better) brand before fitting it to the car. The collectors are really bad on the SuperSport LCB's.

Yeah, I know what you mean, in each corner, i put a big blob of weld then filed it down so its nice and smooth, i'll post a picture tomorrow night

it will fit, it will just hang down a little more that's all

i would but it cant be red because the cars red, and it cant be blue because ive got some blue paint on order, so what colour and could you send a link to some suitable paint

Yes your right, its not a stainless one, but for a short time, it will blue before it goes rusty

That kind of LCB will outperform the cooper freeflow, but the cooper freeflow will be quiter and more reliable.

The cheaper LCBs have issues with fitment, i had to make an extra web to keep it rock solid

a LCB is likely to hang down a bit low on a 998 block, you might end up with ground clearance problems


i have a 998 with 2 inch full system... its a regretable decision to be honest for ^ fault
