ok come on own up. who drives a re shelled mini ? no reg numbers please

mine has been shelled and so has my sons but his was done with a brand new dealer shell in 1983 due to a rally mishap.

My clubman has been reshelled and so has my mk2. It used to wear an early mk1 plate

Nothing wrong with it if it was done legally, ie the new shells ID and number plates were used instead of the ones from the old shell. Or if it was done years ago :)

One of ours has been reshelled, but with a new shell back in 1992 when the Mini was only 16 months old!

Both mine ans dads are. 67 shell with 63 reg and 99 on 79 reg.

No tax evasion or trying to increase value. All minis legally owned.

we have a 65 mini that has been reshelled in the past

at a guess it's a late 70's shell

Its a bit like Triggers broom >_<

Alot of people say no no noooooo mines not been reshelled mines totally original!!

But its had new wings, new floor, new panels, new doors, new roof, new wheel arches

Depends on what you class as a reshell I guess

I agree, once the work is done to mine, the majority of the metal that rover installed. Won't be there, therefor if the majority of the metal is new.

It might as well be a re-shell no?

i thought the rules came in around 99 but will try and find something to back that up
