Good morning TMF,

We are currently in the process of developing our dashboards (so far so good) - so, very simple:

- What would you like to see form the range?
- What features would you like (centralised design, glove boxes etc.)?
- What coverings and faces would you like (vinyl, leather, burr wood, carbon fibre etc.)?
- What clock options would you like (offset, centre etc.)?

If there is anything else let us know, if possible attach a few photos.

And I'll update this thread with a few photo of what we currently have (some of you may have already seen a few pics if you follow us on facebook or Twitter), once we have a few suggestions from yourselves.

Thanks

Can you supply works replia dashboards? The box things that go either side of a weber box or centre dials (depending on what works car you are replicating). Would be very interested, especially of they are
Ally:)

Maybe even a precision for fitment of later fishes on the right hand side? Would open up a retro look to people who don't want to move their guage:)

Something like the Riley Elf Design/Wolsey Hornet type of dash would be good, with the centre speedo and 2 or 4 side holes and two drop down glovebox doors

I've suggested they re-do these from the 60's. What do others think. The top is covered in black leathercloth and the panel face was body colour, but could be finishes to suit personal taste.
PS Roberts you have a PM.

If they don't already, clocks that face up to the driver as per the Rover dashboards.

I'd like to see a dash that incorporates a few things.

A Cup Holder
A Glove box
A Radio

As above, the thing that lets most aftermarket dashboards down is that the instrument cluster isn't tilted upward so that it is in easy view of the driver.

Not sure if they do this already but, I'd like a centre clock dashboard using the earlier speedo that allows the later cars to keep the bulkhead plate.

We can certainly look at making replica Works dashboards on a custom basis, but they are not something that we would be looking at manufacturing as part of a product range. Simply because they would need installed using custom fixings and would also need custom dash liners to fit around the boxes.

I would have thought a replica Works style dash would be from £100 on a drive-in-drive-out service (so we would need your Mini here at Optimise HQ).
