Due to popular demand from various customers I've been out with the cardboard and CAD, and now have the results back from the cutters.

The first batch are for me to first make sure they fit and do the final refinements necessary before they are in full production.

As they will now be laser cut in volume from aluminium sheet the cost has been slashed, with an expected retail price of less than £25 inc VAT.

First pass is for rod change only, but older 4 synchro remotes will not be far behind and 3 synchro's not long after those.

I was going to knock one of these up for myself.

If they're going to be a decent price then I will probably take 3 :D

Helps to stop the crank from 'swimming' in the oil from the sump, sapping power =]

4 x M5 pan head screws to maintain its position, 3 through the back of the case and one into the main web. You can see the pre-made holes in the tray. The tray itself by the nature of the curve tends to lock itself into a stable position

Prepare yourselves for this....

The final samples are in and they look awesome, and the fit is even better...

Now with full rounded shapes and cut outs to prevent cracking, redesigned oil returns for greater strength, and preshaped to the optimum curve for fitting and stability.

Price still to be confirmed, but will be less than £20 + VAT

Will be supplied with 4 x M5 Stainless Panhead Screws for fitting, looking into costs of drill & tap for those which don't have them to hand.

I use loctite to prevent that unlikely eventuality.

The reason the price is not set yet is because I'm working on getting a full sheet cut, which should produce between 70 and 80 trays, so there's not going to be a shortage. Once I've negotiated a price I can the set the retail price which has already been brought down from almost £50 a unit to below £20.
