I like photography.

My uncle is a sports photographer for the Daily mirror. Stuart Robinson, you may see his name pop up.

I've got this interview at Merc next friday, so we'll see what comes of that, probably not alot but...

Rail is going to be massive over the next 15 to 20 years.
High Speed rail links are getting all the funding and consultants are making out like bandits.

I may jump across in the next couple of years. ;D

My brother-in-law works for Network Rail, and I'm pretty sure before that he was working on the High Speed Line in Kent. Either that or he works on it still. He trained as an apprentice electrician. He is now on ~50k a year.

Massive investment going on and the government are keen to push through the new HS2 line.

Underground or overground pay very good money. A few peeps i know who were in the Aviation industry jumped ship to work on trains so its worth looking at.

I'd be tempted to try and work on the HS2 but the HS2 line dosn't go as far north as newcastle!

The guys who are mentioning working for the railway, is there any chance you could let me know via pm, whwhat company I need to contact or how to go about trying to find work on the railway system as an electrician? Thanks in advance
