nah mate the 12g295 head is good.. double valve springs good, 1.3 lift rockers good.. but if you're going for a day to day driving car in towns and such i would say put a 246/256/266 at best.. any higher than than and you would have to rev past 4500rpm for the power to kick in which would be excessive revving and this would lead to the engine needing rebuilding after a few years.. ie race cars have high cams but this is because on track you get to use that rev range and obviously they do rebuild them engines after each race or after a couple of races.. well it all depends on your usage of the car..

I'd advise having a chat to AC Dodd on here about his cams, he's had some great results with road engines with them.
