Ah, a rare MPi you have then. Most MPi's of this year were either Se7En, Cooper Classic (mine) or Sportspack. Anything else is usually considered quite rare!
Yep that's true lol, I quite like them myself, not many people still have them fitted to the MPi's these days.
Go for it! I'm sure the arches were colour coded around this time anyway, my Cooper (1998) has the arches in standard Grey/Black. But this is only because some melon has put the wrong ones on or taken the originals off. They should be colour coded far as I'm aware.

To put pics up, create an account on Photobucket or Flickr, upload pics then use the image code provided and copy and paste into your comments

Yeah, don't see myself coming the other way! Cooper classics were always smart too, loving the BRG!
Could be a good summer job... I'll sort out the photos when I get a minute! Thanks

Haha they are quite nice on the right mini. Thanks very much :D
No problem, I see you've got the photobucket sorted. Get some photos of that lovely Mini on the show n shine section now!
Yeah the arches are easy to do, key the surface, primer, coat, flat back, top coat, done!

Exactly! I think a lot of people chose the Minilites at the time due to the fact they were the same price as the Pepperpots >_< so everyone wanted a Cooper look a like.
Thanks a lot :D really appreciate it!
Oh yeah I sussed that one, yours looks almost Volcano Orange? (Again, can't tell from your profile pic lol) whereas that MPi is Solar Red I believe. Haha as does mine

My only car too, almost too good for this kind of use though!
Yeah, waxoyls the way forward!
Arr, good choice on the pirate! The big flag made people laugh, and that's what Minis are all about IMO!
