Hey. I've got a bit of a poorly mini 30. It's suffering with electrical faults mainly, I've also never managed to find anyone to get it to run right and pass MOT since stage 1 kit was fitted. Does this sound like something you can do?

I would find a rolling road and get it set up properly

Thanks, but that doesn't really help me with the electrical faults...

I was quoting your stage one comment, not that this should be discussed in this thread >_<

Hi Paul

Whilst i while away the time till you collect my mini in January it occurs to me that youi could also do some "other" work

over and above what we agreed - saves me right for keep looking at other mini's lol - also my budget is starting to rise a tad - good for you not so good for me!

Do you do engine work - or could you sub out?

I am thinking whilst the bodywork is being done to clean up/rebuild my engine - same spec - its pulling about 90 bhp at the mo but

i don't know a thing about it so don't know what state its in...

Can you do it and if so what am i looking at - roughly as i know what these thinks are like...

Cheers

Lenny

This is a bit gutting, I hope it all gets sorted out as I had some bodywork I wanted restoring on my clubman and was going to ring these guys after the great feedback on here.

I'm only there at evenings/Sundays, as I have other work commitments, Paul and his dad are there full time, as with most minis we get in for resto, once we start digging, they reveal more work than 1st thought, so some jobs take longer than others, we are pretty full on at the minute, but we have a que/cars booked in a few months in advance, but we are ploughing through them, and the quality and workmanship is second to non, you wont be dissappointed :)

Thanks Lewis for the feedback - reason i went to Paul was the great feedback on this forum but as in most things

communication is key - most of us will forgive delays etc as long as we know whats occurring

Given the amount of work you have - which is a compliment to yourselves -

i am just happy to have booked mine in already!

Some obvious negativity in the thread which i'm sure will be sorted, BUT just over a year since Lewis, Paul and his dad resprayed my 89 mayfair. They also fitted a new front end (wings and front panel) and smoothed the rear bumper.

They did a great job, the photos don't do it justice. I was always planning to post a recommendation for these guys, but as the project has only recently neared completion i never got round to it.

Gave it a good clean and clayed it, and it's still smooth as glass.

I saw Yams' car being finished....awesome job. Hence convinced me to get my car done there too.
