Trying to undo the hub nut on the drivers side to replace wheel bearings

Have the car jacked up sitting on a wheel made a tool up to stop the hub rotating, just a tube with end cut in half and a hole. fits over wheel nut the sits below second 1.

Got a breaker bar and tried it but wont move, anyone got any other methods?

How big is your breaker bar??

I had to use a approx 1m length of tube over my extension bar to undo mine...other i think have used longer

Only the rear have lh & rh threads on the hubs, the fronts are all conventional rh threads (lefty loosy etc)

I've never found one I couldn't shift by taking the centre cap out of the wheel and putting it back on so that you can use the socket through the middle of the wheel. The full weight of the car on the tyre with brakes on and possibly the engine in gear if needed gives a good amount of resistance. Or if keeping the hub still isn't the problem, you just need a longer lever. Just have a quick check there are no leftover bits of split pin or any swarf or anything jamming the end of the thread though.
