As per my post above...... cars with BONDED in glass dont get taken out. Mine didnt on the cars I have had done.


Show me a MINI with BONDED glass then!

ah, yes the new mini the guy said he's done loads of and the glass doesn't have to come out. It's my classic that i'm after getting done... Bexley is a bit of a trek for me :-( shame i don't still live in Hertfordshire!

In my opinion an experienced tinter should also have the abilities to remove and replace all types of glass.
The guy I had do mine before I tought myself to do them always removed them.

I'm taking a tinted rear screen out soon if you want it... It is a bit far but I did recently have glass sent to me!

the first place i spoke to is a glass place so i guess they'd be able to remove it all properly but i didn't ask as i didn't realise it might have to come out, it was the 2nd place that mentioned taking it out. and it was 5pm on a friday so couldn't really call back the first place.
Thanks for the offer but i'd rather stick with my original window. You don't realise how such a simple sounding thing gets complicated! lol
