Hi, Had a little accident with the angle grinder today when trying to remove the old bump stop. Is this shock absorber still safe?

Its through the outer shield but it hasnt touched the inner bit

Better to be safe than sorry....not that a collapsed shock will explode like a bomb....it'll just wee everywhere!

I think the general consensus here is to change it to be on the safe side. It may last a long time but they are not terribly expensive to replace. Change both though unless they are relatively new.

i would change it aswell. 

 

i pointed it out to tell that the picture wasn`t wreally clear, but as said before replace asap
