Well, thinking of ways to get rid of my car and since i havnt really been bothered to advertise many places. i still have her at home.

Just really gauging interest to see if i could get people interested in buying a ticket for a raffle.

Would you like to pay a small fee, and be in a small raffle for a chance to win this mini clubman estate turbo?

My ideal aim is 200 tickets, so that the chances of winning are pretty good in comparison to most raffles. But that will mean that the price would be £20 a ticket. I would have to get someone independant to be responsible for the draw (mark, nick?) and maybe get them to deal with the ticket side of things so that there is no way it could be fixed.

Im not sure how to do this, but if i have no interest at riviera run, this is the way to go i think.

If you want, maybe a list of people interested would like to start a list below? if there isnt a fair amount of interest then i will not bother.

If i can sell 200 tickets on TMF, then i will not try and sell them everywhere i can (like minifinity, sxoc, driftworks, sss and other forums i use).

Feedback on this would be good. Cheers

PS - I have a black grille, was not fitted when pic was taken.

I think its a pretty good idea but 20 quid a ticket is steep. especially as that means you would get 4 grand!!

i would as well, especially as there would only be limited tickets, whats £20 these days?

how would you prove you were only selling 200 tickets though? unless you did it at a show or a meet it would be quite hard

I'd buy a ticket. Mighty_mini has been a member of TMF long enough for me to trust him that he'd only sell £200.

Other options would be to PM Nick and see if you can set up a link in the shop with a limited stock of 200, or set up an Ebay ad, with Buy-It-Now and a 200 quantity?

What would happen if you only sold 50 tickets though? How long after you sold the first ticket would the draw take place?

I'd definitely have one and I bet half my local club would too - £20 is nothing compared to what you could win - I reckon you could sell 200 tickets easy Dave

well £4000 for my car is a bit more than what i was after. £3800 was my original value.

There is lots and lots of history, i have kept 90% of the recipts totalling £2500 last june->sept. Not including the new engine its had. I know £20 a ticket might seem steep, but i remember the flip painted mini that was raffled at MITP and the amount of tickets sold was immence.

Like i said, so far its only an idea. I could reduce the price, and increase the tickets.

i.e. £10 a ticket, 400 tickets.. which will reduce your chances of winning obviously.

I can see what you mean about selling more than 200 tickets, but i had an idea last night.

If TMF Team made a sticky, and everyone who wanted to enter the raffle put their name down. Once the list reached the pre-determined amount, everyone could send their money in and the raffle could then be done by mark or nick at a show nearest the time.

I would also donate money to TMF, for the services. If the tickets went for £20, then i'd be looking at £150 for TMF.

Thats very generous of you MM, can't speak for admin themselves but I can't see there being a problem with that!

On a personal note, for obvious reasons I'd rather see less tickets and a higher price! :trooper: But not on ticket for £4k! ;)
