Which Dizzy To Buy?

So this 5 number code will tell me what dizzy it is ? And my current problem is the rotary arm moves up and down knocking the points out (think bearings inside have gone) I don't have to start replacing parts as going ltb next Saturday and only have Friday off work to fix it.

must be what comes out the parts bin

 

3 I've seen 84 , 88 and 89 all 59D

and my 84 was originally fitted with a ducellier dizzy just to be different.

my 1989  998 had a 59D, i changed it to a 65D (electronic) and its been great.

even though the electronic dizzy has far too much advance for a 998...

  That's easily fixed though, I have one in my 998 too and it's been adjusted.
