Anybody got any of the Clubstands? Always seems no one can be bothered to walk up that far!

 

Only asking as my camera sodded up the memory card and I can't get the pics off bar two!

Did anyone get polish in their run pack

no, we were on the Brighton Mini Club Stand, couldnt get the run pack till after 1pm, even then the van hadnt turned up so they were having to make up packs with the few bits they had, but no, all 6 of us on our stand didnt get the polish.

 

to be honest they know how many stand passes they issue, so I never understand why they dont just take that amount of run packs to the front for people on the stands. Most frustrating to be their before everyone else, but get your shirts and plaques etc way after everyone else.

Did my first ever L2b yesterday with my gf. Great day out! I was dreading such a long drive but the car handled it flawlessly. Will get my photos put up later (I was the dude hanging out the side of a red L reg Mayfair most the journey snapping away).

 

One question though, what's the deal with all the CB radios? It was unreal how many people had them.

How on earth are you supposed to put this window sticker on? I saw people who put it on there and it looks different to previous year's ones, like it has a surround as opposed to a clear back

A great day despite the overheating / traffic chaos / waiting to get down onto Madiera Drive (which caused a lot of frustration when the guy at the top gate just stood around faffing with his mobile phone while traffic built up behind all the Minis up on the main drag...why we had to wait until 10 o'clock on the dot baffles me). So many fantastic Minis to see of all shapes and sizes but car of the day for me would be a split vote between the beautiful silver Ogle and the extremely fab white Radford Sprint with it's French plates, Cibie headlamps and shadolite black glass... both of these cars just oozed '60s cool, a big thanks to their owners for really making my day. Always admired this particular Sprint from afar since seeing it advertised for sale in Miniworld way back in the '90s when the asking price was something like £15k, although from memory I don't think it had the arches at the time. Are the owners of either of these cars on here....? Would love to here more about them...

It's a static cling, will hold either side with a bit of pressure to smooth over it.

Great show, can't say I enjoyed the 4 hour drive though

Didn't take much photos but I read through the programme booklet and found that me and Craig had been mentioned in one of the sections about last years' event
