Done abit more over the bank holiday, actually managed to get the welder out and have ago :) also all the panels have arrived so once there fitted the shell will be solid and i can start saving for the allspeed subframe

Rebuilt the drivers foot well, i know its not the best looking in the world but its nice and solid :)

Still busy welding at the moment, rebuilt the boot floor n would of welded on the rear valence but had to wait for some seam sealer to dry and ran out of time with the welder

for some reason my welder messes up the neighbors TVs so had to come to an agreement that i wouldn't weld after 5/6 o'clock in the evening 

 

ive also bought a full 6 point roll cage complete with the diagonal and door bars for £100 :D

Sorry for the lack of updates and still haven't done a great deal but heres some pics of the rebuilt front shock mounts and my tubbed rear arches oh and i also trial fitted my cage

all depends on the price of the donor car and also how much of the kit you actually buy but im aiming for under £2000

ok so haven't had an update for a while and thats because ive not actually found time to do much :( hopefully should get some time on it this weekend tho.

 

since the last update all ive actually done is weld on one outer sill and have made a start at removing the other outer sill

 

ive also got a new phone so pics will have to be uploaded via phototbucket sorry if there too big not sure how to resize them ?

well according to mini spares its just a larger sill ? haven't had much time on this recently due to Christmas, ive started welding in the spreader plates for the roll cage so you will see some more progress and plenty of pictures in the new year :)

well as luck would have it i went to crack on with it and ran out of welding gas :( after buying a new bottle i managed to weld in all my spreader plates  (sorry no pics.)

 

made a start on removing the old scuttle panel have to say wasn't as hard as i imagined

its abit rotted away in places :( so looks like ill have to rebuild the inside edge
