Alright people, just brought a 1310 lump, needs rebuilding, piked it up CHEAP, its already got the big valve head, but looking round at cams, and roller rockers, and porting the head, whats the best kind of cam to put in her, bareing in mind its a fully reatored, show car, used very rarely, and gonna be used for the odd blast, down the odd country road, but more to make the noise t the shows, and wouldnt mind a bit of poke to go with the rest of the car to make it a propor show piece, any help will ne greatly apreciated, cheers guys

Try asking in the technical questions section of the forum. This area is for build project threads.
Maybe you could ask a mod to move it for you?

It depends on what diff you gonna use, hot cams with a narrow power band need a short diff to keep it on cam at gearchange. A good alternative will be swapping the gear set with a close ratio set (which is still highly reccomendable if you swap the diff for a 3.76 or higher to have a taller 1st gear that makes is more drivable).

A Kent MD276 should be fine for that, a 286 or a swiftune SW10 will be even better if you dont mind rebuilds at about 10k miles
