Hi, I am building my ultimate mini from a shell.  It will be powered by an engine with a BMW K1200 16 valve head.  I am currently stuck on the dash.  I have a new LHD MPI 3 clock dash.  i also have a 130MPH Cooper S speedo and 3 inch tach as well as oil pressure, volt meter and coolant temp gauges.

My problem is that I want to find out if I can purchase the pod that houses the tach/speedo without any holes so that I can cut my own and mount my own instruments.

Has anyone done this or know where I can get a blank instrument pod?

You cannot to my knowledge, but what prevents you from adding a 'blanking plate' on the back of the housing, and redrilling holes in there to match the new internals?
