Hello All!
We're planning a major road trip (14,000 km), but before we finalize our plans I want to be sure our Mini can handle it. I'd like to hear from anyone who's taken their Mini on a major road trip, how many total km, km/day, and how well it performed. I put the question out there because I haven't heard of too many Minis doing this type of long distance road trips. We have a 2009 Mini hardtop with 62,000 km on it, in case anyone is wondering

Given this forum is mainly about the classic Mini, you may be better off asking technical questions on a forum dedicated to the new MINI, such as mini2.com.
Then again, on a modern car like yours, I would expect it to work for 14'000km without any issues. Change the liquids before you head off and in all likelyhood, all you're ever going to need is petrol.
