Went to morecambe and back on monday, collected a trailer. no problems at all, good fuel consumption too.

oil level dipped, pretty much spot on max.

 

Coolant level spot on.

 

Topped up screenwash, 2ltrs.

 

Quick jetwash.

 

No problems, no faults, no hassle daily driver!

Swapped the clocks over on my golf. Now got a rev counter etc, even changed the speedo over so mileage still correct. Sorted out afew dash rattles whilst the top of the dash was out. Need to reprogramme my DAB radio stations now as it lost its memory when disconnected :/

Went to yorkshire on 21st to see family, drove spot on.

 

Got afew waves from randomers in modern cars on way home, assume they were mk2 owners/fans themselves.

The rubber is a standard part whichever carb you use. A google should bring up some. If not ill have a look on pc later for you
