Their web page, I did not realize they have an eBay presence too.

 

 

 

I think this might be the issue. I am going over to see them this afternoon & I will let them know there may be a problem.

I've used W&P twice now during a week of ownership. Found them helpful and honest. Sorry to hear you've had a problem. I'd phone them again and explain your concerns. Not sure what it's like where you are but customs can cause delays here even when a seller has posted promptly.

It is not South African customs, they have not despatched my order yet and offer no explanation or communication. Definitely the last order I place with them! Shame for a company with such a rich history. Much like RR, Austin, Rover, Leyland, Jaguar, MG, Morris, Riley, Wolseley, Etc. Etc....

How did you order from them? Via their web page? Or using their eBay?

 

Their web page, I did not realize they have an eBay presence too.

 

Unfortunately, their web page is a bit out dated in the way that it places orders, and having done my work experience there I experienced this first hand. They are a good company and process thousands of orders through eBay and do well, however an out dated website doesn't help their web orders

I've orderd few things from them through eBay and w&p been great wiper set and the window rubber set I got within 2 days spot on

Bought quite a lot off them from their eBay store, never had any problems and stuff has normally arrived within a few days of ordering

Seems their number is out of order now. Y'all sure they are not going bust?

 

 

Edit: got through to but told to ring back and that they are too busy to bother with email. Seems they are waiting for one part of my order and are too busy to send me a mail. Promised to mail me today with the situation.

A different member of staff deals with Ebay orders & website orders, which may explain the difference in service....

No mail from them, guess I will wait 'till next week and see what happens. It is very frustrating as I am in a different country. All this aggro for a £433 order. :angry:

Full credit to W&P on ebay.  Ordered some bits on the 19th and received today by post here in Canada.

Have you tried calling them again? Simply sitting waiting for an email reply isn't helping them.

 

W&P have not had a bad name to my knowledge - seems some people prefer keyboard conversations these days which cause more issues than they solve.

 

As JuJu has said, and has first hand dealings with them - pick up the phone!

They are the main Mini parts supplier that I use if I need some odds and ends. I usually go to the premises but I do order off their eBay shop as well quite often. In my experience though, they are always busy with something there, so don't expect them to have time to jump straight onto a case. You'll be put in the line of things to do as there is only one person doing the web orders and packing.

Wilson, I am in Abu Dhab,i it is not cheap to call - I called them about six times already.

 

They promised they would mail me - I am not the one not communicating also I am not the one providing a service for money. I have paid my money, now I expect W&P to keep their side of the bargain, they are offering goods for sate and I gave money for said goods.

 

I called, again today and was told that the man was busy and would call me back, guess what? No call.
