Were the split Webers not fitted for 1968?
As Appendix J changed in 66. That only allow for 4 extra lamps, thus the roof lamp which was rarely fitted after 64, disappeared from then on?

I'm not sure about App. J limiting additional lights to a max of 4, but I seem to recall that the reason we had to stop using swivel roof lights was because the handle was very dangerous. If you hit your head on one it would give you a nasty headache. I certainly used one until 1966, but after that they were not used as far as I can remember, but it's a long time ago. I seem to recall some cars with more than 4 extra lights on later internationals, but I do know that the Mk.1 Escorts and 240Z Datsuns I rallied in on internationals had only 4 extra lights as I've just been looking at the photos.
