....and now, Ladies and Gentlemen, before your very eyes, I shall amaze, nay astound you with the most wonderous of sights *drum roll*.....
The mini sleeper! *HUGE fanfare*
(Well, I'm assuming you have already chopped and lowered the roof by 6 inches and made 2 bespoke wooden seats with a 2 piece removeable bench cushion setup)
I shall try my bestest to describe in a Haynes manual stylee, 'because I know how much we LOVE those

Have you ever seen George clarks amazing spaces?........ He'd be proud of you!!!!!
I love your thought process and on a serious note I'm planning a trip across Europe and back and if I done something similar to what you've done I recon I could get away with staying in the car a few nights, the logic being that the money I save on hotels I'll probably spunk on beer and be too pissed to care where I sleep
Happy days
I prefer to DRINK my beer..... You do what you want with yours...... but I'm NOT sharing from your bottle (Check your spell-checker
) xx

Well, I'm afraid I 'jibbed out'......
Was on here until late and my bed was just so attractive compared to trapsing up the workshop..... Maybe tonight instead?

Well I did it!
OK, so not as comfy as my kingsize, but I DID manage this time to sleep right through.... Might need to cut down one of the rear companion bins so I can get a little more space and get it a bit more level.
Watch this space ........
Right, I'm off now to straighten my spine

Chop I love your seats, I really do!! They kind of remind me of a cross between a sunlounger and a futon!
One thought though, does the drivers seat move back and forth, because I thought that it needed to be adjustable for the MOT these days?

Didn't know that about the seat.
Why's that? It's not like anyone else is going to drive it and I don't need access to the back anyway. I built it for me, the curvature of the seat matches my back and the rollcage diagonal is in the right position to support my dodgy shoulder.....
My MOT man didn't mention it, so I don't think it'll be a problem come MOT time
I might 'forget' to mention this to him though......
Thankfully when I said the dreaded BIVA word he said ''The what? "

Mine's always passed with a fixed seat, lots of road going track cars have seats that aren't adjustable.
