It certainly was, well spotted. the car is somewhat different to the last isssue now. The magazine will catch up in the jan or feb issues though. It should make for a good read aslong as i keep finding the cash to carry on building the car! Its so light now that i can actually lift the shell, well whats left of the shell. I have the designs for the new spaceframe so just need to get christmas out of the way and then get on with ordering the steel and lots more cutting and plenty of welding. I'll try harder to keep you all updated as i go along.hi is it you car that was in track and race car the other month?
looking really cool, i love the lupo too!

While I'm here I would like to say congrats on being a little bit crazy....having a screw loose can be good for you! (no offence meant)!

If you need any help regarding anything to do with the engine get on an autograss forum, theres so many home built conversions on there!

After being told about the comments and posts asking for updates i have decided to come back on and post, it will probably only be on this thread for a while until faith is restored but i'll keep you all updated. The loop has under gone a huge change recently, its now halfway into the space frame fabrication.
A massive design change was undertaken last week, i have decided to not go with the chain drive but have chosen a rather more reliable and more sane approach. The engine is going to turn 90 degrees and mount directly to a BMW M3 diff, this will do away with having to change a £170 chain every thousand miles.
Thanks to all of you peeps that asked for me back, its nice to know there are still genuine club lupo enthusiasts out there.
Some of the spaceframe tacked in place, the main 2 tubes in the bulkhead ( the larger tubes mounted horizontal) are both the load bearing tubes that will take all of the push from the back wheels!
Starting to cut out the left inner wing sections, these are very heavy gauge steel which was a suprise.
The left inner panel removed, the car back in the garage as it was so cold outside.
Boris in his bed for the next few days.
looking good in my oppinion what do you lot think?
