I would probs say car. because if you think about it when you fit a carb engine to an injection mini you have to use the emissions on an injection engine....

Its such a grey area, i will just turn up for the mot and see what happens! Its along way from now anyway.
I'll get some pictures on over the weekend as I'm away from the car at the moment but as soon as i get to it i'll get some piccies.

As promised here are a few more up to date pictures of the Lupo. I still have the floor to cut back up to the front bulkhead and the side sills to cut off but the main lump has now gone. the engine mounts are the next thing on my list when i get a chance.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures, i must have had the shakes when i took them!

looking mental as usual, loving the work gone into that cage, what tube notcher are you using?

I am not 100% certain, but I suspect the car will have to undergo a default emissions test (target being 3.5% CO and HC of 1200ppm). Like I said, not certain about that at all.

andywaller - I'm doing the tube notching by hand, with the help of my trust angle grinder. its not that time consuming.

mini mad me - I think its going to end up having the default test too, i'll do some more asking around and see if i can get an answer.

Mincento - cheers wayne, i'm hoping to have it ready for a trial drive around dec/jan. I'm going to build the whole car then see how it runs before i do a complete strip down and acid dip then paint then final build. I am hoping that if all goes to plan it should be running by UD08. (ulitmate dubs is a show for the non VW bods)

Haha, i had the same issues on the monte carlo busa thread today.

After looking at the pics i again i soo want a cage in my XE mini, thats pretty much a bare shell and it looks mint, it will be proper crowd puller when finnished

can you imagine what the purists would be like at UD though Daz, most of them would be having a fit over the 'too racy theme'

still would love to see it, by then i will most likely have got rid of the arosa, (it was meant to be for sale this week) but if your gonna be there in this im there
