Lamps - Cibie Oscar Plus. Reason, they fit nice and close to the grill because they have a flat back yet still have a 7" lense and anywhere up to 130watt bulbs in each. Not that its legal like that

Bracket - Replica original Works bracket. Reason, Good solid brackets to hold the big weighty lamps firmly in place. The grill will need cutting a little to get the bracket to fit though. The lamps how ever still do require lamp stays to stop beam flutter, easily and simlpy made from jubilee clips

Very true. Plus, about 95% of people on here will not drive the dark country roads at night the way I do. I'd rather be able to see where the road goes far enough ahead to be ready for it. Goes back to the few rallies i have entered, its bad enough trying to stay on the stage during the day, but when the last stage is run dusk till dark its ten times as bad even with having the power of the sun bolted to the front of the car.
All depends what you want the lamps for, functionality or just bling.
