Geoff, if I only had your skill with a angel grider, plasma cutter and welder I would. Leave it to the experts that's what I say. I really can't beleive the speed in which this work has been carried out. I seen this van and the photo's do it no justice. keep up the good work lads, your doing a dam fine job :highfive:

Cheers Bri. Getting there. Welding finished so onto the painting.

Rear under subby primed, sealed and stone chipped. Started on inside. Black topcoat going under subby first thing then cracking on with the inside tomorrow. Should be rolling again by the end of the weekend, so we can tip it on its side to paint underneath.

Gives us brake and fuel lines to do, plus some nice bits to bolt on, rad hoses, extended arms etc.

Look good fellas! I have your exhaust bit in the back of my motor so I may pop over with it and take a look at this van as I am still yet to see it with my own eyes!

Looks like you two had a busy afternoon today! More to do tomorrow?

Still a fighting chance of making l2B.

To do list is something like:

Finish paint underneath and floorpan inside, stone chip and paint fuel tank
Slap some paint on door steps and exterior panels to make good for now
Fit rear swing arms and hoses
Run brake lines front to rear
Fit fuel line front to rear and install electric fuel pump, fit tank
Fit new front wishbones, tie arms, track rod ends and check bearings, driveshaft boots etc
Replace all 4 shocks
Replace rad and hoses
Install and devise method of securing battery
Fit seats
Fit rear fog light, lights, doors, number plates, steering column cowling, new door straps.
Get electrics working for mot (you never know what you might find, but from memory only the rear driving lights didn't work, plus reversing light not connected)

... And most importantly, install CB Radio!

That's a days work for you two isn't it?
Where's the best place to get CB's from?
Fancy getting one for mine if this rebuilt engine's going in before Brighton!
