Put a George Foreman grill in between the front seats. With its patented design, the fat could run straight onto the exhaust.

well that just sum's up the mini scene, really if you ask or do something different, you get idiots giving stupid answer, the guy only ask if you had ideas that were new, he didn't want to reinvent the wheel.
really try and use your imagination, put your own slant on things. look at the other scene, hotrods, vw custom ratlook

There is plenty that has been done, but also loads that hasnt.
That which hasnt, and is to come in the future is what i am currently working on, although, largly pointless, it will be very different from the norm in the mini scene. but also rather expensive to do.
But in reality, im gonna need a bigger engine.
It really gets on my nerves when people ask to be different and just get a load of stupid responses, the reality is, that those, like me, who are trying to be new and inventive wont tell you what we are doing untill you have seen it.
Those with no imagionation will just come up with stupid ideas because they lack the intelligence to do anything useful.
The thinny idea is really good, and something i did look into, and really would work (V-twin engine would work really well here) but not really something i would want to drive.
This is my inspiration:
Those who know are thinking oh *******, those who dont will be left to wonder.

Perhaps the people who have given stupid answers are the ones who have gone to the effort of actually being imaginative and doing something different themselves, rather than just asking for new ideas on a forum. My mini is going to look different, it has many personal touches to it which I haven't seen on any other mini (well not Australian ones anyway) and they are the product of my own imagination and creativity, not just by asking for ideas on a forum!
My own mini is going to be a blend of modern and classic styling - I find standard minis boring, but I dislike over the top modified cars - so I'm trying to find a compromise between the two. Car will be Tweed Grey with OEW roof, running on 10*4.5" satin black steel rims with yoko AO32 tyres, no arches, Cobra Imola seats, half cage if I can find one in Aus for a good price, nice little F1 style carbon fibre side mirrors. The Mk1 grille moustache will be fluorescent red (and the cage) and the grille slats satin black. headlight rims will be satin black.
Oh it will have a JDM Nissan silva dashboard in it too.
Will look like my sig below hopefully!

Dont ask for ideas, come up with your own or something you want to create. Your car after all, so you should be the one with the ideas whether they are new or old
