you could always go for a fan boosted car, brabham tried it in F1, so its proven to work ;)

I know the car you are on about, but am confused by the terms you have used to describe it.

Well yeah, it was used to increase 'ground effect' downforce, thus making the car faster through a corner

A lego mini wouldn't rust, would be safe for kids 3+ and would be positively awesome. The only downside is that it would hurt when you accidentally tread on it, whilst fumbling through the garage in the dark...

i think you should reverse the shell so the front of the car is the rear end of the mini  :shades:
