As it's a round nose and even though I'm getting rid of the coil and dizzy by using no diz, where would be the best place for the intercooler to go?

Was thinking just putting a small one where the dizzy is,

Or then a big exposed one the full width of the car under the bumper, what's the chances of damage when doing this?

small and efficient would get my vote. Just remember to make sure it has flow out of the back of it too

Just push it as far forward towards the grill? Obviously I'm not going to make loads of room between the cooler and the block though?

You may be able to mount one behind the valance with some holes cut into it, otherwise mounting it behind the slam panel with some holes in the bonnet,

thats what I would do personally

Yeah!!
Could get one which goes from the top of the bonnet down to the valance with holes in it too,

Next time I see the mini I'll have a good look :)

Obv the valance doesn't have any structure properties so I can drill as much as I want?

I cant see why not but the subframe sits right behind so you may not have enough space, but mounting one to the subframe hanging down with some airflow to it through the valance might work (or if you fancied a bodykit the zeemax would go some way to giving you somewhere to mount it without it being exposed )
